What we’re looking for

We want an Business Development / Growth Lead to join our founding team. This is not a typical “hand you a lead, close the deal” salesperson role. This is for someone who thrives in uncertainty, enjoys building process from scratch, and wants to shape the go-to-market for a product with real potential.

Your mission: build and own UniDeck’s first scalable sales engine. From identifying ideal customers, running outreach and demos, to closing early B2B deals, onboarding customers, and shaping our growth strategy. Key areas:

  • Run outbound and inbound sales outreach to Dutch SMEs, startups, teams, freelancers and agencies.
  • Demo UniDeck, persuade early adopters, convert teams into paying users.
  • Conduct customer discovery: talk to users weekly, collect feedback, and feed insights back to product & engineering.
  • Build systematic pipelines - document playbooks, outreach scripts, workflows, and onboarding processes.
  • Establish partnerships (coworking spaces, HR consultancies, productivity coaches, universities/students, agencies) to boost reach.
  • Help onboard early customers and support them (onboarding, adoption, templates, success stories).
  • Collaborate closely with founders to refine pricing, messaging, positioning, and growth strategy.

Who you are

You’d be a great fit if you:

  • Are confident working in an early-stage startup: you’re proactive, self-driven, comfortable with ambiguity and “making your own process.”
  • Speak Dutch (or at least fluent English + eagerness to work NL market). A huge plus for outreach in the Netherlands.
  • Have experience selling to small teams, SMEs or startups (B2B SaaS, productivity tools, or similar).
  • Have strong communication and storytelling skills - you can demo a product, explain value, and build trust quickly.
  • Are data- and feedback-driven: you care about learning from customers, tweaking approach, iterating rapidly.
